The Jeff McKillop Memorial Charity Car & Truck Show
A message from Jeff's Mom about the 2019 Show.....
Today is a bittersweet day. I am grateful & ecstatic...sad & heartbroken. I have tears pouring down my face as I write the Fund's cheque to Pathstone Mental Health. The days leading up to the car show were rainy & cold & we worried about our Event & whether or not anyone would come. The day itself was cold & windy. But people came. They supported our cause & that's why I'm grateful. I'm ecstatic because our generous supporters have allowed us to branch out & expand the JMMF. We have attended 2 festivals so far to spread awareness & we have several more to attend. We have 3 more fundraisers in the works for this fall that will spread awareness & raise funds so we can continue to expand. We are able to continue to fund weekly peer support meetings. This is amazing !!! But it has come at a cost. That's why I'm sad & heartbroken. None of us on the Board or Car Show Committee ever forget you, or why we are working so hard, Jspec Tows. You are part of every meeting & all our outreach projects. We talk to you (& sometimes yell at you), we laugh & we cry & we do it all for you !!! You are truly loved.
With that, I am amazed to report, that on a cold & windy day, our supporters allowed us to realize a net profit of over $10,000. Today we are honoured to present Pathstone Mental Health with a cheque for $6,500. The balance will be used to fund the growing JMMF projects. Thank you is not enough, but thank you !!!
Net proceeds from the Jeff McKillop Memorial Charity Car & Truck Show will be used to support Pathstone Mental Health
